Are you 17 - 35? You are needed to help ensure the future of our community blood supply.
- Less than 7% of all Blood Bank members are under the age of 35!
- The average age of blood donors has increased dramatically over the past 15 years.
- As the Blood Bank membership ages, a growing number of blood donors are becoming blood users.
- The serious lack of young donors is becoming a national problem, one that must be turned around in order to support local hospitals in the future.
Please encourage your colleagues, friends, and family members to give blood and join the Blood Bank as a member. If they happen to be between 17 and 35 years old, be sure to tell them they are helping to ensure the blood supply of the future!
